**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking an intermediate to senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our Kingston office\. This is a great opportunity for individuals who like to assume responsibility and are driven to build on current successes\.
Responsibility for this position include but are not limited to:
+ Project management, design, and contract administration related to civil/municipal projects – roads, drainage, and linear services
+ Manage projects from initial feasibility assessments through design and construction
+ Sector business development and proposal preparation
+ Establish, foster and grow existing and new client relationships
+ Managing project budgets and staff allocation, and client invoicing
+ Partner and collaborate with clients to understand and coordinate, and implement their expectations
+ Effective communication with clients, contractors, general public, and other stakeholders
+ Lead and provide guidance to other engineering staff and technologists for technical support and developmental growth; supervise, train and mentor
+ Establish effective working relationships with other senior engineers and other AECOM offices’ staff to coordinate resources, prioritization, quality control, and effective project delivery
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 10 years of relevant Municipal/Civil design and project management experience in Ontario
+ OACETT or PEO designation, or qualified for enrollment
+ Sound knowledge of design standards, OPS specifications, and materials and methods associated with municipal roads and linear infrastructure
+ Proven success in managing municipal road and other civil engineering projects of varying size and complexity
+ Experience and aptitude for proactive business development and marketing
+ Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; effective report writing
+ Literacy and sound ability with MS Office and other software programs
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in a similar role in eastern Ontario
+ Skilled in municipal road design and tender document preparation
+ Working knowledge of TAC Guide and MTO / MOECC design standards
+ Experienced with Municipal Class EA and regulatory approvals processes
