**Job Summary** The Power, Industrial, Oil & Gas Division of AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Civil Drafter/Designer to assist with future large projects\. The position will be full time\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
+ This position will be responsible for serving as primary departmental resource for CAD drafting at the project level
+ CAD drafting will be performed in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards, as well as company standards
+ Prepare and issue all associated design/ drafting packages in coordination with IT support staff
+ Assist in the development, implementation and deployment of CAD drafting and survey standards on a departmental level, as directed
+ Assume primary responsibility for providing a quality work product by checking the work product of associates and assuming both schedule and quality measures
+ Assist in the training and development of junior staff
+ This position affords the ability to make an important and meaningful contribution to our projects and our clients
+ The role will provide the opportunity for skill development in many aspects of the profession, as well as opportunities for increased responsibility, challenges and project management
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Post\-Secondary and/or Technical School Education related to Computer Aided Design \(CAD\) and/or Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent qualifying experience
+ Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in drafting and CAD with emphasis on Civil discipline
+ Must be able to work closely with design professionals at a project level with minimal supervision
+ Must be able to work in a team environment, using time management and multi\-tasking skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with Civil 3D Grading Plans
+ Experience with Landfill projects
