**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a full\-time **Chemical Engineer I** professional to work in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office location\.
Responsibilities include:
+ Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD
+ ability to interface effectively with clients
+ excellent time\-management, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
+ Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes
+ Perform standard computations or analyses
+ Perform process simulation analyses
+ Prepare drawings and visual aids
+ Create PFDs \- P&ID's for various facilities or processes
+ Perform assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard scientific techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks
+ Create equipment specification and perform selection
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in chemical or petroleum engineering
+ Training in simulation and spreadsheet software
+ EIT to be obtained within one year of hire
