**Job Summary** AECOM are seeking a Planner for a Sewage Treatment Plant project in Dubai\. The Planner will be responsible for the scheduling functions on packages within a project\. The suitable candidate will also be responsible for preparing pre\-construction phase, master and detailed schedules as well as reviewing detailed Contractor’s construction schedules\.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
+ Assisting the Resident Engineer in developing schedule evaluation criteria to ensure Contractor compliance with their contractual obligations\.
+ Reviewing the Contractor’s detailed work program submissions and prepare the evaluation report\.
+ Advising and assisting the Contractor in the development of the resource and cost\-loaded work programs\.
+ Recording and reporting the actual progress of the work versus the planned work\.
+ Monitoring all activities in the project schedule for potential delays, and regularly update claims and variation logs\.
+ Advising the Resident Engineer of any potential delays to the program, and work closely with the project team to develop mitigations to minimize or avoid these delays\.
+ Assisting the Resident Engineer for the preparation of Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports\.
+ Producing cash flows in Primavera P6 and work with Resident Engineer to liaise with the Commercial team\.
+ Participating in Weekly and Monthly Progress Meetings\.
+ Monitoring actual production rates and compare with planned\.
+ Maintaining database of production rates and support lessons learnt library\.
+ Reviewing the actual implemented bills of quantity and the cost and resource loading prepared by the Contractors\.
+ Ensuring all document records and logs related to potential schedule delays/claims from the Contractor are filed and maintained in accordance with the project Quality Management System\. These include but are not limited to: logs of shop drawings, material submittals, test certificates, procurement, method statements, site inspection requests, as\-built drawings, and other manuals\.
+ Checking progress on site as requested by the Resident Engineer to ensure accurate progress reporting by the Contractors\.
+ Monitoring long lead item procurement activities including delivery to site\.
+ Participating in Contractor logistics meetings to ensure stream\-lined site traffic movement, and planned material delivery to site\.
+ Generating critical milestones for the construction stage for inclusion in tender documents through detailed discussions with the Resident Engineer, evaluation of interfaces between buildings/infrastructure\.
+ Assisting technical tender evaluations of Contractor or Design Consultant submissions\.
+ Assisting the Resident Engineer in contract administration and preparing end of transaction claim analysis and using as\-built or as\-planned delay analysis\.
**Minimum Requirements** The successful candidate must have a minimum 10 years of experience in Sewage Treatment Plants and experience with Primavera & Planning software\. \.
**Preferred Qualifications** Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is essential for this role, along with experience in Primavera & other planning software\.
