**Job Summary**
AECOM's internal Information Technology team is conducting a search for a **Database Management** professional, specializing in applications such as Cognos, Hyperion and Deltek\. The basic function of this position is to provide senior\-level application administration services to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of Enterprise Applications within AECOM such as, but not limited to, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Oracle EBS, Deltek Time & Expense, SAP BPC, Hyperion, SOA and IBM Cognos/TM1\.
Scope
This person will provide senior\-level systems administration services to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of assigned applications\. This person will coordinate all aspects of the IT infrastructure support services required to support the applications\. This includes all systems operation activities; change management; wide and local area networking requirements; all coordination with the application user community; and coordination with all appropriate IT professionals on other teams\. This position supports a global environment and interfaces with staff in multiple geographies\.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Direct all aspects of the activities required to ensure the assigned systems are available to the user community, as arranged, and in a manner that is effective, efficient and secure
+ Define, implement and manage application technical architectures and operations
+ Preform application performance tuning and optimization as necessary
+ Work closely with Infrastructure staff and other teams \(including Accounting, IT Applications Development, Systems Analysts, etc\.\) to ensure the day\-to\-day technical activities required to support the assigned systems are appropriately defined documented, executed, monitored and improved
+ Maintain appropriate coordination and communications with the functional owners and users of the assigned systems
+ Provide effective and timely communications to regional and corporate IT professionals as necessary in support of the assigned applications
+ Ensure the effective operation of all interfaces between the assigned systems and all other systems as required
+ Work as a team member or lead on multiple projects and assignments relating to network, data center, and application initiatives
+ Participates in 24x7x365 on call rotation

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor degree in Information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
+ Highly motivated team player
+ Minimum 5 years IT related work experience
+ Minimum of 2 years experience managing web\-based applications
+ Experience administering server application software and working with the associated user communities to identify and resolve technical issues
+ Experience constructing technical business requirements, and managing enhancement or upgrade projects
+ Experience with \(meaning recent hands on administration of\) at least two of the following:
+ Web and J2EE technologies such as Weblogic, IIS, Apache, Oracle Application Server or WebSphere
+ SOA
+ Cognos/TM1 \(administration, not building reports\)
+ Hyperion
+ Deltek
+ Ability to troubleshoot client and server operating systems including Windows 7/8, Windows 2008/2012 Server and Linux
+ Provide senior\-level systems administration services to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of assigned applications
