We pride ourselves on ensuring we deliver the best customer service possible to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents\. **Job Summary** Manages the proper coordination of various types of agreements, subcontracts and other contract/legal documents that involve projects located in an international environment with legal, program management and other organizations as necessary\. Assists in the development of proposals to address request for proposal \(RFP\) requirements and approved cost strategies in accordance with cost estimating system requirements, company policies, and government regulations\. Facilitates effective implementation of contract responsibilities with program objectives and requirements\. Reviews all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy\. Advises and guides Project Teams in export and control and licensing matters to ensure the appropriate sections are kept fully aware of company’s compliance\. Monitors performance and funding on assigned contracts\. Notifies upper management and Program Management of potential non\-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to the company\. Manages the process for updating contract information in contract’s database ensuring all data is current and complete\. Participates in contract disputes, claim resolutions and outside audits\. May be assigned to take the lead in some cases\. Reviews and resolves issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, company and customer objectives\. Negotiates proposals, contract modifications, and agreements as required within the limits of authority delegated by the upper management\. Acts as advisor regarding customer contract requirements, and government regulations in contracts executed in international locations\. Manages and integrates daily work integration of contract and subcontract efforts to ensure effective efficiencies in compliance with corporate, contract and legal requirements\. Develops and trains lower level employees in Contract Administration process\. Performs other duties as assigned\. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree + 10 years of experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline + Three \(3\) years Contracts Management or related field experience can be substituted for each year of the four \(4\) years of college + Prefer at least five \(5\) years supervisory experience in contracts + Ten \(10\) years of experience in contract administration and government cost accounting environment, with at least four \(4\) years working in the international environment + Prefer experience in a managerial role + Knowledge of cost controls and federal contracts support for projects executed in international locations + Familiarity with international logistics, shipping and expediting, and customs matters + Familiarization with the application of country allowances , i\.e\. cost of living, danger pay, quarters allowances, etc\. and the impact to pricing federal proposals + Thorough knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation \(FAR\), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations \(DFAR\), US Agency for International Development \(USAID\), US Trade and Development Agency \(USTDA\), and other governing documents for federal contracts executed in international, as well as related federal and state legislation and regulations Knowledge of Service Contract Act and Truth in Negotiations Act; Knowledge of international business management, including Business licenses, international insurance, taxation, and banking and currency conversion processes as well as International Traffic in Arms Regulations \(ITAR\) if required for contract + Familiarization with Defense Base Act \(BDA\) Insurance and its applicability + Knowledge of accounting practices including ATS disclosed accounting practices + Excellent oral and written communications + Effective leadership and interpersonal skills **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
