Hunt Construction Group excels because we are abundant with the right people producing the right results, every time\. **Responsibilities** : Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise all planning and scheduling functions for the geographic region or market sector for which incumbent is responsible\. Responsible for contributing to the development, implementation and management of the corporation’s scheduling procedures and processes and an organizational structure to carry it forward\. Performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct\. + Assist in the initial creation, implementation and management of standard operating procedures/processes for company\-wide scheduling applications and roll\-out training plan\. + Contribute to a procedures manual for use in implementation and thereafter day\-to\-day scheduling guidelines\. + Act as an internal “change agent” to gain company\-wide understanding, appreciation and commitment to scheduling\. + Execute change at the legal and contracting level to leverage the capacities of CPM scheduling to reduce, aggressively defend, or eliminate claims against the company from owners, designers, subcontractors and other project entities\. + Manage and direct all regional planning and scheduling functions\.  Includes personnel administration and staffing activities, establishing objectives, providing technical direction and support and employee development\. + Monitor project scheduling standards and procedures for compliance and initiate corrective measures as necessary\. + Insure all planning and scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates, progress reporting and problem analysis activities comply with company and client requirements\. + Coach and mentor subordinate schedulers to promote their professional and personal development and help them achieve their career aspirations\. + Provide consultation to company personnel, A/Es, primes and subcontractors, clients, JV partners and other team members in planning and schedule analysis providing options for problem solution\. + Ensure software and hardware requirements for scheduling applications are upheld to maintain industry best practices\. + Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity\. + Perform additional assignments as requested by internal customers or Director of Scheduling\. **Minimum Requirements** + Four year construction related degree plus eight years of similar construction scheduling experience or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience\. + Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles and practices\. + Demonstrated knowledge of the general installation practices of all CSI divisions necessary for communication of the schedule to all trades and interested parties, to educate company persons in the use of CPM and to review schedules generated by others\. + Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others while maintaining effective relationships with internal/external customers by exceeding their requirements and expectations\. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills\. + Interpersonal and coaching skills required\. + Comprehensive knowledge of the current state of the CPM scheduling industry standards, practices, norms, legal positions and history\. **Preferred Qualifications**  **Field experience as a superintendent a plus\.** **Professional Engineer registration preferred\.** **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
