We pride ourselves on ensuring we deliver the best customer service possible to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents\. **Job Summary** The successful candidate will coordinate and review the formulation and finalization of contracts as required in coordination with management and Legal staff\. Ensure compliance of appropriate regulations\. Research and prepare analysis as required\. Act as both a formal and informal mentor to Junior Contracts Administrators on contracts from key Federal Agencies\. Key responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Administrator include, but are not limited to; Due diligence in support of projects with new Federal Government Clients/JV's/Teaming arrangements, cost proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contracts policy compliance, project audits, project property management and any other business related support required by the program/project management on multiple stand alone and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts, each containing both cost plus and FFP pricing arrangements\. This position will also serve as the primary project interface with the Federal Government Client's contracting official where so designated\. Must ensure adherence to the firm's signature authority policy, and facilitate approval of necessary and appropriate deviations\. Coordinate with Corporate Audit Group and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal and state agency audits\. The Senior Contracts Administrator will respond to project/federal government client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, subcontracting/procurement, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property and other administrative issues\. In conjunction with the Project Manager, develop the negotiation strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the Federal Government Client\. On Federal projects, will conduct strategic pricing planning and participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with the Federal Estimating System Manual, RFP requirements and other firm policies and procedures\. Must also have experience in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets\. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications \(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook\)\. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements as well as the Uniform Commercial Code The ideal candidate must have solid understanding of risk management, assessment, and planning as well as possess the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills\. This position requires knowledge of federal, state, and local contracting, bidding, source selection, and procurement regulations and laws; experience with audit standards and federal cost principles; outstanding communication and negotiation skills; and strong financial, pricing, and business management skills\.
