Bachelor's degree in a business administration, engineering, or technical field, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. 8 years experience in industrial Facilities Maintenance related work will be considered demonstrated equivalent in experience with no education. 2. Two years of planning experience in the field of facility or production maintenance, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience using a CMMS system, Maximo experience is a plus. 2. Preventive and/or Predictive maintenance planning experience 3. Administrative, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MSOffice programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook). 4. Ability to coordinate parts and assign the appropriate skilled labor to ensure successful completion. 5. Ability to write processes and procedures related to facility maintenance work. 6. Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M's, etc. 7. Demonstrated understanding of an effective safety culture. 8. Education, experience, and skills that align with growth into a leadership, management, or supervisory position. Physical Requirements: • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. • Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday. • Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. • Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. • Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other URS, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. • Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations. • Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. • Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. • Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements: • Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is seeking a Process Maintenance Planner in Wamego, KS! Typical schedule is 1st shift; hours may vary based on business demand. Hiring bonus may be available to qualified candidates outside of the commuting area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning preventive/corrective maintenance activities daily for three shifts of process maintenance support, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and CNC technicians; obtaining proposals from qualified suppliers; preparing requisitions; providing schedules and coordinating work; and developing machine specific and general job plans. Experience working with a CMMS system is required, as is the ability to create spreadsheets and power point presentations, and the ability to create and present planning and scheduling metrics to management staff. The Planner also assists with the safety program. Must be able to work with limited supervision in a high paced industrial, large commercial or logistics environment. Responsibilities: • Uses Maximo to plan tasks and personnel for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work. • Coordinates with subcontractors and vendors for services. • Obtains proposals from qualified suppliers and prepares requisitions. • Creates and presents Planning metrics spreadsheets and Power Point presentations. • Assists with the safety program.
