Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs\. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\.
**Job Summary** Location Chicago, IL
+ Conduct field inspection of sub\-contractor work within the area of responsibility for large, complex mixed use space\.
+ Implement and enforce policy, procedure, and related work rules as established by field construction management\.
+ Prepare reports and forecasts as required; updates supervisors accordingly\.
+ Oversee and manage inspection team in monitoring of construction methods, schedule performance, manning charts, material quality and equipment requirements\.
+ Monitors contractor performance against all requirements including but not limited to Safety, Quality, and Administration\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Knowledge of commerical, low to mid rise or resi/condo construction or engineering operation relating to field activities such as earthwork, utilities, paving, and building construction\.
+ Must be able to recognize that a problem exists in their area of responsibility and address accordingly\.
+ Capable of problem identification, resolution proposal, communication, reporting, and adjudication of same\.
+ Determine the priority of assignments based on critical deadline and project need\.
+ Strong communication skills; written and verbal\.
**Preferred Qualifications** 10 to 15 years of field construction experience, preferably for commercial, resi/condo, or mixed use office complexes\.
