Outside of the U.S., we also serve the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, as well as defense agencies in the United Kingdom and Australia. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: Prefer an Associates Degree from an accredited college/university with 3 years range systems experience, or 5 years range systems experience. Three years’ technical experience with Tactical Training Range systems (or equivalent military systems). Training in tactical data information links and fundamentals. HF and HF/ALE Training. FURY Training. BCSS/MST Training. RFX Training. Must maintain a current Security + certification Must maintain a current RF Radiation Awareness certification Must possess a valid state Driver’s License Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification May require current COMSEC certification May require a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License Must Possess and Maintain a Government Secret Clearance. Current Transferable Secret Clearance preferred. Job Description: Provide operations support during I/O Signals training events. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for I/O Signals operations. Provide training to other contract and military personnel on new systems to support I/O Signals training requirements. Participate in planning and provide recommendations for support of I/O Signals training. Evaluate feasibility of proposed I/O Signals training events. Identify requirements for interoperability between range systems and participating simulators or joint units’ equipment. Perform maintenance on and install upgrades to current and future I/O systems. Install and provide operations and maintenance support for new I/O systems. Ensure that planned changes to I/O Signals configuration and/or policies are coordinated with Cherry Point classified network administrators and NSWC to determine if any engineering or other changes are required. Support approved NSWC task directives to enhance or sustain I/O Signals training capabilities. Ensure all configuration changes pursuant to the duties of this position are documented and approved IAW established processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Work schedule will be determined by the TDL Coordinator or assigned functional lead to accomplish operational requirements. Must meet the DOD 8570 certifications and requirements for IAT Level 1 When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must cease work and notify lead, supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions. Must successfully complete all assigned training and ensure its entry into their training jacket, to include but not limited to monthly CTTR training assigned in SharePoint, government assigned training in TWMS, and all other non-recurring training as assigned. Will accurately document work performed in the IEMS May be required to travel up to 50 % in performance of work, government Joint Travel Regulations are applicable to all travel. Work is scheduled by the manager or supervisor based on mission schedule and fleet requirements. Mission support requires shifting of schedules to accommodate fleet readiness and to ensure crew rest.
