**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a full\-time **CADD Drafter IV, Environment** professional in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania \(Greentree\) office location\.
Responsibilities include:
+ ability to demonstrate an established career in Civil and Pipeline Design
+ management of design staff
+ proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies to every day design work
+ basic understanding of pipeline engineering process
+ ability to verify calculations to support overall project design
+ knowledgeable of pipeline drawing preparation process using client specific and midstream pipeline industry standards
+ assist in the collection of data on manpower, man\-hour and labor costs requirements for design staff to aid in evaluating the budget
+ assist in the review of current CAD user staff to ensure that minimum machine requirements are met, licensing and add on software are properly installed, and future updates to the system are researched
+ lead the standardizing of drawing production process, boarders and templates, file structures, and client/AECOM standards; includes interaction with other office lead staff to help standardize the overall practice group
+ work to organize common resources, such as design drawings, so they are easily and affectively utilized by all staff
+ develop preliminary, bid, and construction drawings
+ coordinates with engineers
+ checks drawings
+ assist in training staff in specific design techniques
+ act as the direct contact with AutoDesk and Microstation to handle software issues, and work to implement the changes
+ create and maintain design standards and reference libraries
+ actively assist in periodic reviews of office CAD user software and machinery to make sure equipment meets software needs
+ participate in Managerial meetings, as necessary
+ promote proactive use of software to utilize existing and new design practices being implemented in industry, or would allow AECOM to be a leader in the industry
+ perform actively in project specific design teams as either lead or senior designer
The position will be a key member of the Pipeline Engineering group and must be highly proficient designer in AutoCAD and Microstation platforms\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum 8 years of experience
+ Associates Degree from accredited technical institute or equivalent
+ AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation proficient in Civil design applications
+ Proficient knowledge of computer aided drafting programs
