**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** Our AECOM Long Beach office is currently seeking a jr/mid – level Civil Engineer to plan and execute remediation system O&M, conveyance piping design, compliance reporting, assist Principal Engineer on water/wastewater treatment design, and other environmental investigation/remediation activities for various clients in Southern California\. The ideal candidate will be self\-motivated, experienced with remediation systems, construction management, an excellent communicator both oral and written, and capable of planning, managing, and executing projects in accordance with strict AECOM and client specifications, policies, and procedures\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum BS degree engineering with 2 to 5 years of professional experience\.
+ OSHA 40\-hour training
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work well in a project team and a fast paced environment
+ Oil & Gas client experience a plus
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background; excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office; time management skills
**Preferred Qualifications** PE licensure
