**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** The candidate should have experience in wet infrastructure such as in Potable water networks, Storm water networks, Sanitary Sewer Networks as well as Combined Sewer System networks\.
+ Undertaking design works, tendering and evaluation of tenders of wet services infrastructure including water supply, wastewater, stormwater
+ Ensuring quality and timely delivery of infrastructure design works to AECOM internal and external clients
+ Undertaking and technical review and checks of design works of others as directed by the senior Infrastructure engineers
+ Undertaking any design progress reporting and liaising with developers or clients to meet their scope objectives
+ Coordinating with peers and managers the projects progress and aspects, ensuring project performance is in accordance with their respective scope of services and conditions of contract
+ Undertaking any relevant hydraulic design modelling works using our current software’s of Water CAD, Sewer CAD, Storm CAD, and Info Works, as directed by Senior Infrastructure engineers and ensure quality of the outputs
+ Providing any report updates to the projects design managers or senior Infrastructure Engineers and project managers including clients when needed
+ Coordinating aspects of projects submittals and deliverables, reviews and approvals against contract requirements\. Report and advice on any deviations from the same
+ Undertaking any works associated with tender preparations, specifications and standard design works that meet project objectives
+ Adhering to AECOM Health and Safety and Environment policies
+ Adhering to AECOM quality measures and implement the Project Delivery System \(PDS\) in all design works and procedures
+ Assisting in the execution, pursuit, assessment and review of future opportunities for project work and consultancy services
+ Assisting in providing design advice, reports, and liaison role for all AECOM internal departments\.
+ Assist in providing marketing support to the water engineering team and business with current and future clients
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Degree in the Civil Engineering
+ Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design of Wet Infrastructure networks at a similar consultancy
+ Minimum of 5 years of management experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Management and designing overall schemes, such as sewer improvement schemes or flood defense programs, and associated structures, such as pumping stations, pipe work including separate systems and Combined Sewer Overflow \(CSO\) Preparing tender documents as a basis for construction
+ Reviewing technical submissions by Engineers
+ Liaising with various bodies and individuals, including local authorities, government agencies, clients, contractors, residents, suppliers, technical experts and other consultants at a higher level
+ Working and managing collaboration with other disciplines
+ Supporting the project director within the business and across the wider market
+ Leading the team on environmental matters, and being aware of policy and developments in this area
+ Presenting technical data or project results to both technical and non\-technical aspects to clients and colleagues
+ Monitoring and managing the progress of projects from beginning to end \- from the feasibility stage, to design through to construction and handover \- or supervising one section of a large project
+ Controlling budgets and resources at the project level
+ Administering contracts and ensuring that work is completed to deadlines
+ Managing project teams, including other engineers, technicians and site workers
+ Able to prepare network models for Potable water, Sanitary and Storm water systems
+ Able to provide manual calculations and designs for simple networks
